I stayed at the Mokohare during a one week stay in Lesotho. The place was wonderful! Very central to places you’d need to go in Maseru, incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast every morning was delicious. Our group had dinner there several nights. It was also delicious and very convenient. We would sometimes place our order earlier in the day and they’d have it ready. Loved the coffee and bottled water in the room as well as soap and shampoo. Bed was comfortable, shower hot and very clean! Wifi worked fine in my room in the back and on 2nd floor. At times the signal was slower (depending on time of day and usage?) but was consistently a strong signal on the first floor near reception.
I would highly recommend The Mohokare to anyone visiting Maseru and plan on staying there again.

I stayed at Mohokare Guest House for 2 nights while in Maseru for business. Great value for money, with very friendly staff and neat clean rooms and communal areas. Wifi is available and functioned well for me. Bed was comfortable and had clean white linnen. Clean white towels in the room. Room was spacious with aircon, TV (with limited channels), a desk to work at and tea/coffee and 2 bottles of water inlcuded. A full breakfast is included in the room rate, and lunch and dinner can be ordered off a menu for reasonable prices, and drinks can be bought from the bar. The shower took a few minutes to produce warm water, and had poor pressure, but I managed.

Nice rooms good food and polite staff but never slept in a hotel room with more bedbugs. I slept at around 9.30pm but by midnight was woken up by what felt like mosquito bites.found 3 full bedbugs in the bed and have seen several more. Can't wait to leave in the morning.

I stayed at Mahokare Guest House on 25th of April 2016 and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The TV remote did not work, but was replaced very quickly. Tricky lock on door which was a bit of a challenge but were replaced by a card which worked very well. Wifi worked well and supper was delicious. Room very basic and bathroom quite old with a cracked basin. My biggest problem was the lack of hot water. I was told they are working on the geyser on my arrival, but that it will be fine later on. Well, the next morning I still had no hot water. I called reception (different person from day before) and I was told the problem is everywhere. I then duly boiled water in the kettle, washed myself with the bit of water, got dressed when I received a call that they could move me to a room with hot water. A bit too late as I had an appointment and had to leave. At least they tried to assist.
